You will be required to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to meet project requirements. Your duties will involve measuring, marking, and cutting sheet metal materials to the desired size and shape. As a Sheet Metal Fitter, you will be responsible for scribing, marking, and creating templates on sheet metal surfaces. Furthermore, you will assemble fabricated parts using various techniques such as welding, soldering, brazing, riveting, or adhesive bonding. In addition, you will be expected to install fabricated components like ductwork, ventilation systems, or architectural metalwork. Performing finishing operations on fabricated components, such as sanding, grinding, deburring, or polishing, to ensure smooth surfaces and remove sharp edges will also be part of your tasks. Identifying and rectifying leaks, replacing damaged parts, or making modifications to meet changing requirements will be a crucial aspect of your role. Adhering to proper handling and storage practices for materials, as well as maintaining clean and organized work areas, is essential. Key Skills required for this position include Fabrication, assembly, installation, and maintenance of sheet metal components and structures, blueprint reading, layout techniques, fabrication methods, and welding.,
