The role of Manager Assembly & Testing at our Satara Plant involves overseeing the assembly and hydro pneumatic testing of customized fabricated valves. You will be responsible for collaborating with design and QC teams to ensure final dimensions, testing parameters, and documentation meet the required standards. It will be your duty to guarantee test bed readiness, safety, and leak-tight performance for each valve, while also monitoring throughput, testing rejections, and final acceptance clearance. Leading a team of Engineers, fitters, helpers, and testers, your focus should be on ensuring timely delivery without compromising on quality. To excel in this role, you should possess a profound understanding of valve assemblies, torque specifications, sealing principles, and testing methodologies. A hands-on approach and the ability to remain composed under pressure are essential traits for this position. The ideal candidate for this position should hold a degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering and have at least 2 years of experience in a similar or Assistant Manager role within a Fabrication, Machine tool building, or Equipment manufacturing company. A minimum of 10 years of overall industry experience is required. The salary is negotiable for the right candidate.
