Job Summary: We are looking for a reliable and experienced Accountant to manage the day-to-day financial activities of our HR consultancy firm. The ideal candidate will have a solid accounting background with hands-on experience in Tally Prime, GST, TDS, income tax returns, net banking, salary processing, and general cash handling. This role is essential to ensure financial accuracy and regulatory compliance in a dynamic consulting environment. Key Responsibilities: Maintain day-to-day accounts in Tally Prime. Handle all sales and purchase entries, invoicing, and billing. Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.). Manage TDS calculations, deductions, and returns. File Income Tax Returns (ITR) for the company and assist with compliance-related filings. Process monthly salaries, calculate PF/ESI (if applicable), and manage payroll entries. Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor net banking transactions (vendor payments, client receipts, etc.). Handle petty cash, maintain cash book, and ensure accurate cash flow tracking. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and MIS report generation. Coordinate with external auditors, CA, and consultants for audits or assessments. Maintain and organize financial documents, vouchers, and reports. Key Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance. 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a consulting or service-based company. Proficiency in Tally Prime is a must. Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax provisions. Familiarity with salary calculations, payroll processing, and banking transactions. Comfortable handling cash and maintaining records accurately. Good command over MS Excel and other office tools. Attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work independently.
