Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting senior management with financial analysis. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: General Accounting: * Maintain and update general ledgers, ensuring that all transactions are recorded accurately and on time. * Reconcile bank statements and accounts, investigate discrepancies, and resolve any issues. * Process accounts payable and receivable in accordance with company procedures. Financial Reporting: * Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. * Prepare and submit VAT returns and other statutory reporting requirements. * Support senior management in budget preparation, forecasting, and analysis of financial performance. Invoice Processing & Payment: * Review and process vendor invoices, ensuring they are accurate and comply with company policies. * Monitor overdue payments and follow up with clients to ensure timely settlement of accounts. Payroll Support: * Assist in processing payroll, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and company policies. * Maintain employee records and benefits, processing any payroll adjustments as needed. Auditing & Compliance: * Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing auditor queries. * Ensure that all financial practices are in line with company policies and regulatory requirements. Miscellaneous Duties: * Perform ad hoc financial analysis or reporting as requested by management. * Participate in improving internal accounting procedures and systems for efficiency. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience as an Accounts Executive, Accountant, or in a similar role. Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally and MS Excel). Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Knowledge of tax and compliance regulations is a plus.
