Experience in eyewear fitting, adjustments, and product knowledge will be advantageous. Previous sales and retail experience is preferred, as the role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication, both verbal and written, will be crucial in interacting with customers. Attention to detail and organizational skills are necessary for maintaining inventory and processing transactions accurately. Proficiency with basic computer and POS systems is required. A high school diploma or equivalent is the minimum educational requirement for this position. Additional certifications in opticianry would be a plus.
