Good eye-hand coordination is essential to accurately guide fabric and thread under the sewing machine needle. You should have good vision, including near vision, distance vision, color vision, and depth perception. Attention to detail is key to ensuring precise stitching, accurate measurements, and consistent quality in the finished products. Physical stamina is required as you may need to stand or sit for extended periods while working. Problem-solving skills are important to address any issues that may arise during the stitching process. Effective communication is necessary to understand instructions and communicate with supervisors and other team members.
