Role & responsibilities Job Title: Maintenance Manager Electrical, Plumbing & Machinery Location: Narasapura Industrial Area Kolar District Industry: UPVC Door & Window Profile Extrusion Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Required: 715 Years Salary: Best in Industry (Based on experience and skills) Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee and lead the maintenance activities of our upcoming UPVC door and window profile extrusion plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining plant machinery, utilities (electrical and plumbing), ensuring zero downtime, and establishing preventive and predictive maintenance systems. Key Responsibilities: Oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of extrusion machines (UPVC profile lines, vacuum tanks, haul-offs, cutters, mixers, etc.). Responsible for electrical systems , including LT/HT panels , transformers, DG sets, UPS systems, chillers, compressors, and plant wiring. Supervise plumbing and water circulation systems , including cooling towers, tanks, pipelines, and pump maintenance. Establish preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for all machinery and utilities. Handle breakdown maintenance promptly to reduce downtime. Coordinate with machine suppliers and service teams for installation and AMC support. Maintain maintenance logs, inventory of spare parts , and ensure timely procurement. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and statutory compliance for equipment and utilities. Support civil, mechanical, and utility works during initial plant setup and alterations . Lead and train a team of maintenance technicians and electricians. Qualifications & Skills: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering . 7+ years of hands-on experience in plant maintenance, preferably in plastic extrusion, UPVC, or manufacturing industries . Sound knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulic/pneumatic circuits, pumps, motors, chillers, and compressors . Proficient in reading machine manuals, maintenance schedules, and electrical/plumbing drawings . Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities. Good communication and documentation skills. Additional Preferences: Prior experience in setting up a new plant is a big plus. Knowledge of automation systems, PLCs, SCADA is an advantage.
