As a SAP MDG Techno-Functional Consultant with 8 to 13 years of experience, you will be responsible for supporting Master Data Governance initiatives within the organization. Your role will involve leading and supporting SAP MDG implementations for Customer, Supplier, Finance, and Material Master Data. Your key responsibilities will include designing and configuring Data Models, Process Models, and UI Models using tools like FPM, WebDynpro, and Fiori. Additionally, you will be developing and maintaining Business Rules and Validations using BRF+, Derivations, and MDG API Framework. You will also utilize various SAP MDG APIs such as Change Request API, External Model API, Governance API, and Convenience API. Furthermore, you will be configuring and managing Data Replication Framework (DRF) and IDoc/ALE integrations, implementing data harmonization, de-duplication, and mass data changes. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure data governance, compliance, and process optimization will be essential. Staying updated with emerging trends in MDM, including AI-driven innovations, is also a part of your role. In terms of technical expertise, you should possess a strong knowledge of SAP MDG Technical Framework, including BADI, BAPI, RFC, Function Modules, Workflows, BRF+, and Enterprise Services. Proficiency in SAP Workflow Management tools like Graphical Workflow Builder, Event Management, Extended Notifications, and Workflow Debugging is required. Experience with SAP Security related to workflow and data governance is also necessary. Preferred skills for this role include a basic understanding of SAP SD and MM module integration, experience in workflow administration in large-scale production environments, and familiarity with generative AI applications in MDM.,
