Extend Developer

Role Overview: As a Workday Extend Developer, your primary responsibility will be setting up the environment for Workday Extend developer. This includes provisioning the developer environment, configuring tenant security, permissions, and deployment frameworks. You will also be involved in enabling DevOps processes such as build/test/deploy pipeline. Your role will require you to deliver five applications, each with specific functionalities like Work Schedule Management, TAF File Number Onboarding & Validation, Super Choice Forms & Validations, Higher Duty Allowance for Acting Managers, and Position Attribute Management. The development process for each application will involve requirements validation, design and development in Extend Studio, unit and integration testing, and deployment to non-prod and prod tenants. Additionally, you will be responsible for knowledge transfer to NAB's internal team for each application. Key Responsibilities: - Set up the environment for Workday Extend developer - Provision the developer environment - Configure tenant security, permissions, and deployment frameworks - Enable DevOps processes such as build/test/deploy pipeline - Deliver five applications with specific functionalities - Validate requirements, design and develop in Extend Studio, and conduct unit and integration testing - Deploy applications to non-prod and prod tenants - Transfer knowledge to NAB's internal team for each application Qualifications Required: - Experience with Workday Extend, including design, development, and deployment - Strong knowledge of the Workday Object Model and security frameworks - Proficiency in XSLT, JSON, XPath, and REST APIs - Experience with Workday Studio, Workday Web Services (WWS), and Extend UI components - Skills in JavaScript for client-side scripting in Extend apps and basic knowledge of Java for Workday Studio integrations - Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Git, Jenkins, or Workday-recommended workflows - Understanding of Workday tenant management (sandbox, preview, production) - Ability to work in Agile delivery environments Additional Details: The ideal candidate should have expertise in Workday object model, Agile delivery, security frameworks, Extend UI components, REST APIs integration, Workday Studio, CI/CD tools, Workday tenant management, Java, JavaScript, and agile methodology.,
