Role Overview: You will be a motivated and experienced Road Design Engineer at Jacobs, utilizing your strong technical and project management skills to deliver highways-related infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities will include assisting your project manager/Team lead on design tasks to support infrastructure highways engineering activities, planning, and designing urban, rural roadways, expressways, and freeways schemes. Key Responsibilities: - Demonstrate technical competence in detailed highways geometry design and deliver work independently while integrating with the larger project team - Prepare concept and detailed design of Roundabouts, priority junctions, signalized junctions, interchanges, and generate earthwork quantities - Check the work of more junior team members and offer new ideas to improve solutions and processes - Communicate with counterparts in lead office/Client and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams on project delivery - Share information and knowledge with team members and show flexibility in work tasks and locations Qualifications Required: - BE Degree in Civil Engineering or Post-Graduation in Transportation/Highway Engineering - Desirable to be a Chartered Engineer or working towards it with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) or equivalent Additional Details: At Jacobs, they value people and believe in the right balance of belonging, career, and lifestyle to consistently deliver and exceed clients" expectations.
