Develop and maintain rolling export demand forecasts for international markets, conduct risk assessments related to demand variability & develop mitigation strategies Plan & optimize international distribution strategies to ensure efficient material allocation and keeping healthy inventories. Responsibilities : This role is responsible for import and export planning, supply chain risk management, future growth strategy, and leadership coordination to ensure smooth operations at Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV) and support DAG Customer Centers (CCs). Key Responsibilities: Import Planning & Controlling Strategically manage material imports to meet DICVs demand. Forecast, negotiate terms, and oversee logistics for timely & cost-effective deliveries. Use IT systems & vendor management tools for real-time tracking. Export Planning & Controlling Manage supply chain for dispatching materials to DAG CCs. Plan demand, coordinate suppliers, ensure regulatory compliance, and track shipments. Optimize logistics and cost control for efficient exports. Supply Chain Risk Management Identify risks (demand fluctuations, supplier delays, geopolitical issues, etc.). Implement mitigation strategies like supplier diversification, safety stock, and contingency planning. Utilize ERP & digital tools for real-time monitoring. Future Growth Strategy Import: Expand supplier base, optimize costs, integrate real-time tracking. Export: Explore new markets, leverage trade agreements, and optimize logistics.
