As a responsible candidate for this role, your key responsibilities will include ensuring compliance and policy implementation by adhering to the Foreign Trade Policy and DGFT guidelines. It is crucial to maintain an up-to-date knowledge of FTP, DGFT notifications, circulars, and schemes. You will be required to apply for and manage IEC code and amendments, as well as file and track Advance Authorizations, EPCG Licenses, and Duty-Free Authorizations. Administering schemes like MEIS, RoDTEP, SEIS, and related incentive programs will also fall under your purview. It will be your responsibility to prepare and submit claims related to these schemes and follow up on approvals. Maintaining proper documentation for DGFT audits and inspections will be an essential task. You will be responsible for end-to-end compliances under EOU/EHTP (Export Oriented Unit) scheme, which includes submitting applications to customs authorities with all necessary documents to seek approval for duty exemption on imported goods. Additionally, you will be tasked with the accounting of duty-free goods, tracking their utilization and movements, availing duty exemption under relevant notifications, addressing discrepancies in inward shipments, and availing export incentives if applicable. Moreover, you will need to submit statutory reports to Customs authorities and STPI authorities on a monthly and quarterly basis respectively. In addition, your role will involve end-to-end compliances under IGCRD (Import of Goods under Concessional Rate of Duties), specifically focusing on availing duty exemption under Notification 25/2005-Cus for manufacturing UPS for the domestic market. This will include activities such as submitting intimation to customs authorities, coordinating with the operations team to ensure timely utilization of imported goods as per IGCRD regulations, monitoring the exclusive use of raw materials and components for their intended purpose, implementing internal controls to track material consumption, calculating differential duty for any non-intended use or exceeding prescribed time limits, and submitting statutory reports to Central Tax authorities on a monthly basis.
