As a Supply Chain & Sourcing Executive, your role will involve overseeing vendor management, procurement, and logistics operations at our India sourcing office. You will play a crucial role in identifying dependable suppliers, ensuring adherence to quality standards, negotiating competitive pricing, and managing shipments for both domestic distribution and export markets. Your key responsibilities will include: 1. Supplier & Vendor Management: - Identifying and partnering with certified sustainable packaging manufacturers throughout India. - Maintaining supplier performance scorecards to track and evaluate performance. 2. Procurement & Cost Management: - Executing purchase orders based on sales forecasts and inventory requirements. - Strategically sourcing materials to achieve cost savings while upholding quality standards. 3. Quality & Compliance: - Ensuring all suppliers comply with export regulations and possess sustainability certifications such as FSC, BPI, ISO 22000, and food-contact safety standards. - Coordinating with quality control teams to conduct inspections prior to dispatch. 4. Logistics & Export Coordination: - Collaborating with freight forwarders, customs agents, and transporters to ensure timely deliveries. - Managing shipments for both domestic sales and exports to the GCC markets. The ideal candidate should possess: - At least 3-5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or vendor development, preferably within the packaging, FMCG, or manufacturing industry. - A robust network of packaging and raw material suppliers across India. - Proficiency in export documentation and processes. - Strong negotiation skills and the ability to conduct cost analysis effectively. - Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets, with knowledge of ERP systems being an advantage. - A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field. - Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi/Kannada.
