Role & responsibilities Plan and supervise all drilling and blasting activities in coordination with mine planning engineers. Design blast patterns considering strata conditions, bench height, burden, spacing, and desired fragmentation. Ensure correct charging and stemming of blast holes as per standard procedures. Monitor and control blast-induced effects like vibration, fly rock, and air overpressure. Ensure that explosives are stored in approved magazines and that daily usage is tracked properly.
