Responsibilities: - Lead the design and development of applications using Intersystems Cache and IRIS Studio, ensuring adherence to best practices. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning. - Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and quality assurance processes. - Stay updated on industry trends in Intersystems Cache and related technologies. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to minimize project timeline disruptions. - Develop and document data platform classes/tables, methods/functions, and REST APIs on the intersystem IRIS data platform. - Utilize strong knowledge of design principles and implementation best practices. - Develop new interfaces in Intersystem IRIS, including Business Process and Operations. - Estimate development efforts for design, code, and unit testing. Qualifications Required: - 8 to 12 years of experience in intersystem IRIS and Cache. - Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. - Proven experience as a developer with a focus on Intersystems Cache. - Strong understanding of database concepts and data modeling principles. - Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. Good to Have: - Experience in object-oriented programming, SQL for application data access, ObjectScript specifics, and Intersystem IRIS technologies. - Experience with Account Processing Core. - Exposure to the banking and financial services industry, including knowledge of banking products, services, and procedures. - Familiarity with XML, XSLT, data transformations, and strong SQL skills.
