Experienced Associate - US Assurance

As an Assurance Experienced Associate at Sikich, you will play a crucial role in timely identifying accounting issues, documenting findings, and discussing them with senior/ Assistant Managers. Your responsibilities will include working on various auditing projects, providing work product reviews, and servicing multiple client engagements simultaneously. You will develop one-on-one relationships with US-based audit leads, ensure accurate and timely reports for clients, and drive quality project deliverables. Additionally, you will participate in Training and Development activities, build internal auditing systems, and ensure compliance with current legislation and best practices. Your role will also involve verifying company financial information, preparing audit reports, and responding knowledgeably to client audit queries. To be a successful candidate for this role, you should have a B.Com, M.Com, or be a Semi-qualified Chartered Accountant with relevant experience. Possessing a CA/CPA qualification is a plus. Your self-motivation, strong work ethic, organizational skills, and proactive approach to accuracy and attention to detail will be essential. Proficiency in QuickBooks and other US accounting systems, intermediate Microsoft Excel, and MS Office is required. Strong interpersonal and exceptional communication skills, along with problem-solving and innovation abilities, will be key to addressing technical production challenges effectively.
