The Solutions Architect's responsibilities include maintaining extensive knowledge of the products' features, functions, and processes and assisting in closing sales engagements where technical expertise may be required to fit the client's needs. To be successful as a solutions architect, you should Possess an in-depth technical knowledge of our company's products as well as the technology ecosystem it operates in Architect tailored solutions for the customer with this knowledge. Communicate the solution in a way that is understandable to customers in the context of their requirements. Be driven to achieve your sales goals - should have excellent technical, sales and customer handling skills for this. The ideal candidate is a great listener with a talent for solving technical challenges. This is a pre-sales position and will require travel for customer meetings as and when needed. Responsibilities: Discussing and qualifying technical requirements with customers. Collaborating with sales and other teams to progress deals with customers. Architecting solutions to meet the customer's technical requirements and needs. Performing proof-of-concepts to prove that Aerospike can meet the customer's requirements. Presenting technical solutions to various levels at a customer including C-level executives. Evangelizing Aerospike at events, meetups etc. Identifying areas for improvement and communicating these issues as well as possible solutions to upper management, including product managers. Prerequisites Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills 7+ years of experience in database technology Databases; NoSQL, Relational, Distributed, MPP E.g.
