Responsibilities . Issue Purchase Orders based on the demands or Purchase Requisitions received from the engineering or the planning team. . Drive Order Acknowledgement & Order fulfilment as per the Need Date or the Promise Date by closely working with the supplier, logistics and the fulfilment teams of the business. . Basis the urgency of any requirement, the candidate will have to pull-in or push-out orders and update the ERP for any change in supplier Promise Dates. . Adherence to the KPI&rsquos and business SLA&rsquos is mandatory. . Responsible for helping suppliers resolve any outstanding invoices which have not been paid. . Work closely with the suppliers and other business functions like Warehouse, Sourcing, Quality, Finance etc. to resolve any Material Discrepancy and work efficiently to drive fulfilment to avoid any delays in shipping. . Responsible for preparing and reporting out their own KPI&rsquos and SLA&rsquos. Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum qualifications . University graduate in any discipline . Relevant work experience Preferred qualifications . Should possess strong Expediting skills . Must possess sound knowledge of order confirmation, expediting delivery, Excel and SAP tool . About Venwiz: Venwiz Technologies Private Limited is seeking an experienced and proactive Expeditor to oversee the timely progress and completion of fabrication projects at vendor locations. This role will be part of the expediting team in the Fabrication Business Division. The ideal candidate should have high energy to drive for results and will be responsible for expediting suppliers at their workshop locations, updating the system, monitoring inspections, maintaining OTD reports, tracking bought-out items (PO s) for the assigned jobs. This role is for heavy equipment fabrication requirements, majorly involving higher thickness plates. Sheet metal experienced candidates should not apply Ability to work under tight deadlines and should have good communication skills. Candidate should be able to face clients in regular review meetings Key Responsibilities: Planning: Perform meticulous study of all drawings and BOM to understand manufacturing processes, quality requirements and specification. Understand manufacturing plan and validate for the completeness and accuracy Identify long lead and critical items Should Be Able to Analyse Preparatory, Welding and Fitment Quantums On Ground Expediting: Monitor and track all project stagesfrom raw material (RM) ordering to final dispatch. Create and track daily/ weekly plan on the shopfloor and ensure the manufacturing progress is achieved as per plan Identify risks/ potential failure points in achieving production and plan for mitigation Work closely with internal teams, client teams and vendors to ensure timely completion of each stage. Understand quality points from QAP and ensure adherence to the same during manufacturing stages Raise timely alerts with reporting manager as well as client teams Update the progress in the expediting digital solution (candidates are required to undergo hands on training for the same) Identify and resolve issues related to machines, equipment, quality, processes, manpower or technical expertise. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Inspection /Expediting Engineer Mumbai Expeditor will be deputed in clients office on continuous basis for close coordination with clients representative. ii. The Expeditor shall obtain a production and /or manufacturing milestone schedule detailing all SELLER’s activities from engineering, procurement, fabrication and testing through to final delivery in accordance with the agreed Purchase Order delivery dates. iii. Expeditor shall monitor and expedite the Submission of Engineering Deliverables by SELLER as per the schedule agreed in the VDR / PO Terms & Conditions. iv. Expedite with DEC(Detail Engineering Consultant) for Review / Approval of Engineering Deliverables within the time frame agreed in the PURCHASE ORDER. v. EXPEDITOR shall expedite with SELLER for submission of Final documentation including operating manuals, As Built drawings etc. (as per the requirement specified in the PO / VDR). vi. Working jointly with Construction, Engineering, Project Controls, Purchasing, Supplier Quality and Traffic and Logistics, the Expeditor shall identify critical items that require area expediting assignments.
