The Tender/Bid Manager will be responsible for managing the entire bid process to ensure that bids are completed on-time and meet the company’s requirements. Key responsibilities include coordinating with various departments to gather necessary information, developing bid strategies, drafting, and reviewing proposals, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements, and maintaining a database of all submitted bids. The Tender/Bid Manager will also identify potential business opportunities and ensure that the company’s proposals are competitive and stand out in the market. Key Responsibilities: Tender & Proposal Management Identify, review, and manage tender opportunities from government and private clients. Prepare and submit complete proposals (technical + commercial) with accurate manpower costing. Ensure timely, compliant, and competitive tender submissions. Client Relationship & Networking Maintain and expand a network of client contacts in healthcare, education, and commercial facility sectors . Meet and visit clients, consultants, and institutions as per business requirements. Act as a single point of contact for pre-bid clarifications, presentations, and negotiations. Costing & Commercials Prepare detailed costing sheets (wages, statutory compliances like PF, ESIC, bonus, gratuity, training, and uniforms). Suggest competitive pricing strategies in line with market conditions. Review and highlight risks in contracts before submission. Internal Coordination Coordinate with HR, Operations, Finance, and Legal teams to gather required inputs. Ensure operational feasibility of commitments made in tenders. Support handover of won bids to operations for smooth contract execution. Market Research & Business Growth Track new tenders and opportunities through portals, client networks, and direct contacts. Monitor competitor activities and pricing trends. Support business development team in identifying new projects and clients Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of facility services industry Good client relationship management and networking skills . Ability to travel and visit clients/sites as per requirement. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Strong Excel, costing, and financial analysis skills. Knowledge of statutory compliance laws (PF, ESIC, labor laws, etc.). Qualifications & Experience Graduate in Business/Commerce/Management/Engineering (MBA preferred). Minimum 4–7 years of experience in tendering, business development, or client management in the facility management / manpower outsourcing / security & housekeeping industry . Should have an existing network of client contacts (hospitals, schools, malls, institutions). Proven success in winning tenders and client engagement . KPIs (Performance Indicators): Number of new clients contacted and visited. Tender win ratio and contribution to revenue. Client satisfaction and relationship strength. Timely submission of tenders with zero rejections on compliance.
