As a Security Representative for the Detroit Pistons team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our facilities, staff, and guests. Your primary responsibilities will include providing security protection and access control at the Pistons Performance Center, executive security during game days at Little Caesars Arena, and handling emergency situations with professionalism and efficiency. Your daily tasks will involve operating an exterior security booth, conducting visual security inspections, verifying credentials, monitoring CCTV cameras, and responding to incidents as needed. You will also be responsible for escorting guests and personnel within the facility, overseeing emergency responses, and maintaining a safe environment for all employees and visitors. To excel in this role, you should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with additional security, law enforcement, or military experience being preferred. CPR/First Aid and AED training, as well as a driver's license, are also desirable qualifications. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively and make sound judgments in emergencies, are essential for success in this position. In addition, you should be comfortable working a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Your willingness to adapt to various climates and physical demands, as well as your commitment to upholding corporate security policies and procedures, will be key factors in ensuring the smooth operation of our security department.
