Job Description

As a Field Service Technician at Akshayakalpa, your primary responsibility will be to follow a Permanent Journey Plan (PJP) developed in consultation with your reporting manager on a monthly basis. This plan will require you to visit a minimum of 20 locations featuring visi-coolers, cold rooms, or deep freezers as part of a preventive maintenance schedule. You will be expected to utilize the provided tracking app to monitor your daily progress, submit visit reports, update issue resolution status, and provide relevant escalation remarks to stakeholders. In case of issues related to the equipment, such as visi-coolers, cold rooms, or deep freezers, you must resolve them on the spot with a maximum Turnaround Time (TAT) of 1 day (L1). Unresolved issues should be escalated to the manufacturer's technician for additional support (L2), and if necessary, to the Sales Point of contact of the distributor and your reporting manager (L3). Effective stakeholder communication is crucial in this role, requiring you to be available to address calls from both internal and external stakeholders promptly and resolve any issues within 1 day. Ad-hoc visits should be managed separately from the standard PJP. Building relationships with the contact persons at each retail store or Akshayakalpa spoke featuring the relevant equipment is essential. You should introduce yourself as the primary point of contact from Akshayakalpa for any related issues. Logistics management tasks include attending calls related to equipment shifting and coordinating with the internal logistics team to arrange necessary transportation requirements. Maintaining accurate documentation is a key aspect of this role. You will be responsible for keeping a master sheet for visi-cooler/deep freezer/cold room deployment reports and preserving all documentation and receipts provided by technicians for servicing completed by the manufacturers or distributors. Please note that this job description is subject to change and may be modified by the company at any time. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including cell phone reimbursement, provided food, health insurance, internet reimbursement, leave encashment, life insurance, and provident fund. The work schedule is day shift, with additional benefits such as performance bonuses and yearly bonuses. The work location will primarily be on the road as you travel to various locations to fulfill your responsibilities as a Field Service Technician at Akshayakalpa.,
