Executive | Direct Tax

In this role at Macquarie, you will focus on direct tax compliances, accounting, and reporting requirements in the Asia region, primarily Singapore. Your responsibilities will include: - Preparing, reviewing, and filing direct tax returns - Managing monthly, quarterly, and annual tax accounting and compliance deadlines - Liaising with internal stakeholders - Leading and mentoring high-performing teams - Using your expertise to improve services, processes, and systems - Staying updated on tax requirements and changes in tax laws To be successful in this role, you should have: - 2 - 4 years of relevant post qualification experience in direct tax compliances and accounting in Indian taxes - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Stakeholder management skills and ability to work effectively in a global and virtual team whilst maintaining cross-border relationships - Experience with tax reporting and financial systems - Background with the big 4 tax firms and taxation experiences within a shared services environment or financial services are advantageous At Macquarie, you can access a wide range of benefits including hybrid and flexible working arrangements, wellbeing leave day per year, paid parental leave, paid volunteer leave, and other benefits to support your physical, mental, and financial wellbeing.
