Executive-Business Finance

You will be responsible for accurate and timely preparation of consolidated/standalone books of accounts & financial reports. This includes reviewing and issuing Consolidated and Standalone Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Statement, Cash Flow Statement, and other financial statements as per Indian accounting standards. Compliance with SEBI LODR guidelines and handling data for RPT compliance will also be part of your duties. In addition, you will ensure accurate representation of financial data, review Related Party Transactions Schedule, and analyze key variances in consolidated reports before circulation. Your role will involve assisting auditors, providing process improvement recommendations, and maintaining a customer-centric approach in developing relationships with other teams. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare consolidated/standalone financial reports accurately and timely - Review and issue financial statements as per Indian accounting standards - Ensure compliance with SEBI LODR guidelines and handle RPT compliance data - Maintain accuracy in financial data representation and error-free statutory financial reporting - Review Related Party Transactions Schedule and analyze key variances in reports - Assist auditors with query resolution and provide accurate responses - Recommend process improvements to enhance reporting speed and efficiency - Develop strong relationships with other working groups and facilitate team building - Maintain Fixed Asset Register and coordinate asset verification - Work on lease accounting as per IND AS 116 and review Lease asset schedule Qualifications Required: - Qualified Chartered Accountant - 1-2 years of experience in financial reporting, preferably in the same or similar industry - Knowledge and experience of SAP S4 HANA ERP system - Sound understanding of Financial Accounting Standards and Principles - Expertise in tools and systems for Financial Consolidation - SAP knowledge is strongly recommended About Birlasoft: Birlasoft is a global technology company driving digital transformation through Cloud, AI, Data, and enterprise solutions.
