About Anil Thakkar & Associates: Anil Thakkar & Associates is 35+ year old CA firm based in Vadodara. We specialize in audits & taxation. Our clients are spread across industries – F&B, manufacturing, trading, FMCG, wholesale, retail etc., with small and medium sized firms.

: (What kind of work you will be expected to do and learn on the job and execute; Roles and Responsibilities):

Audit:

· To finalise Financial Statements and Auditors Report.

· Audit Planning and execution.

· Ensuring compliance with Audit and Assurance Standards and RSM Audit Manual.

· Ensuring compliance with disclosure requirements.

· Working on special assignments like Due Diligence, Limited Review, IFRS, Corporate Governance etc.

· Keeping up to date knowledge of accounting standards, auditing standards, laws applicable and regulatory requirements.

Tax:

· Filing of income tax, TDS and other relevant Returns/ Reports required under Income tax.

· Filing of monthly, annual GST returns

· Handling of Income tax hearing for Assessments, TDS.

· Liaising with government authorities and tax consultants to facilitate operations by smooth tax management

· Ensuring correct reporting of tax charges and assets/ liabilities in the company's financial statements

· Ensuring all direct and indirect compliances on monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual basis.

Continuous Learning expected from you:

· Keeping up to date knowledge of tax compliances under direct and indirect tax laws

· Keeping up to date knowledge of accounting standards, auditing standards, laws applicable and regulatory requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile:

· Bachelors in Finance/ Accounting (e.g. B.Com/ BBA)

· OR Aspiring CAs/ Article Assistants (IPCC (Pass/appeared) shall be preferred

· Working language proficiency in English & Gujarati. (verbal as well as written).

· Analytical Capability.

· 2-3 years experience
