Executive _ Master Data Management (MDM)

The Executive Master Data Management (MDM) will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and governance of master data across the organization. The role will support the creation, updating, validation, and audit of data within Oracle EBS and ensure seamless data flow between functions. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Role & Responsibilities :

Master Data Operations

• Manage end-to-end master data processes including creation, update, validation, extension, and deactivation.
• Maintain master data across key domains:

  Item Master, Vendor Master, Customer Master, BOM, Recipes, Routings, Pricing

  , etc.
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.

Data Governance & Quality

• Implement and follow defined data governance standards, SOPs, and approval workflows.
• Perform regular master data audits and identify inconsistencies, duplicates, or errors.
• Monitor and improve data quality metrics, ensuring high levels of integrity and reliability.
• Support periodic data cleansing activities and corrective action plans.

System & Process Support

• Work extensively on

  Oracle EBS

  for data management, validation, and reporting.
• Troubleshoot master datarelated issues and coordinate with IT, Supply Chain, Finance, Production, Sales & Marketing teams for resolution.
• Support new product development (NPD) and product launches through timely master data setup.
• Assist in system enhancements, UAT, and continuous improvement initiatives related to master data.

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare dashboards and reports on data quality, master data KPIs, and workflow status.
• Maintain complete documentation of processes, policies, and change logs.

3. Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience with

  Oracle E-Business Suite (Oracle EBS)

  – mandatory.
• Strong understanding of ERP data structures, workflows, and integration points.
• Knowledge of master data domains in manufacturing and FMCG environments.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, reporting tools, and data analysis.

4. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in

  Engineering / IT / Computer Science

  or related field.
• Certification in data governance / ERP / analytics (optional but preferred).
• Minimum

  3 years of relevant experience

  in Master Data Management.
