As a Testing Strategist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability, reliability, and production-grade quality of our products in the BFSI environment. We are seeking individuals who are dedicated, adaptable, and possess the right attitude to contribute to our innovative organization. Your primary responsibilities will include designing and developing a comprehensive Testing Strategy, planning the execution of this strategy, and achieving measurable outcomes from the testing team. It is essential to have a solid grasp of the BFSI domain, product assessment parameters, and functional aspects. Additionally, you should have hands-on experience in formulating Testing Strategies, creating execution plans, guiding the team in writing scenarios and test cases, as well as ensuring code quality and coverage of the developed code. An excellent understanding of certifications such as PCI DSS, VAPT, and other relevant credentials is highly desirable. Key Skills required for this role include proficiency in Testing Tools within an Agile Methodology framework. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain complex stored procedures, functions, views , and business logic using T-SQL. Analyze and optimize existing T-SQL code for performance, scalability, and maintainability. Conduct code reviews of legacy SQL components and implement performance improvements. Create and maintain optimized database schemas , with proficiency in normalization and denormalization techniques . Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting of issues related to query performance, deadlocks, blocking, and long-running transactions . Ensure data security through proper user roles, permissions, encryption techniques, and secure development practices. Document database designs, stored procedures, and troubleshooting steps in a clear and standardized format. Stay current with the latest SQL Server features and best practices, recommending adoption where relevant. Develop and maintain error and event handling mechanisms, including precedence constraints, breakpoints, checkpoints, and logging. Experience working with data archival , job scheduling, and integration with legacy systems. Required Qualifications: Minimum 7 years of experience as a SQL Server Developer. Expert-level knowledge of T-SQL programming , stored procedures, and performance optimization. Strong understanding of SQL Server internals , including indexing strategies, transaction management, and execution plans. Proficient in performance analysis and tuning using Profiler, Execution Plans, Extended Events, and DMVs . Solid grasp of database security principles, including access control and encryption. Proven experience working with large and complex T-SQL codebases . Ability to write logical, efficient, and scalable SQL code . Comfortable working independently as well as part of cross-functional teams. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Experience working with Azure SQL Database or other cloud-based deployments. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with CI/CD pipelines for managing database deployments. Familiarity with version control systems for database code (e.g., Git, Redgate SQL Source Control). Domain experience in healthcare or workforce management platforms is a plus. Experience with creating, populating, and maintaining data marts , with strong knowledge of data warehousing structures , including Star and Snowflake schemas .
