Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to oversee the execution and installation of electrical systems for high-rise building construction projects in Bengaluru. This is a field-based role requiring daily presence at construction sites to ensure electrical work is executed according to design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. The successful candidate will be responsible for on-site supervision, quality control, and coordination of electrical contractors during the construction phase. Key Responsibilities On-Site Execution and Supervision Oversee daily electrical installation activities across multiple floors of high-rise construction projects Supervise electrical contractors and subcontractors to ensure work quality meets project specifications and industry standards Conduct regular inspections of electrical rough-in, panel installations, conduit runs, and cable pulling operations Coordinate electrical work with other trades including plumbing, HVAC, and structural teams to avoid conflicts and delays Ensure proper installation sequencing and adherence to construction schedules Quality Control and Testing Perform field inspections and testing of electrical installations including power distribution panels, transformers, and emergency systems Verify proper installation of electrical equipment, conduits, wiring, and grounding systems Conduct pre-commissioning tests on electrical systems before handover to commissioning teams Identify and resolve installation defects, non-conformances, and quality issues in real-time Maintain detailed inspection reports and quality control documentation Safety Management and Compliance Enforce electrical safety protocols and procedures on construction sites, particularly for high-rise work environments Conduct safety briefings for electrical crews and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards Monitor and approve electrical work in confined spaces, elevated areas, and around heavy machinery Coordinate with safety officers to investigate and resolve electrical safety incidents Ensure proper lockout/tagout procedures and electrical safety training compliance Technical Problem-Solving Resolve field installation challenges and provide technical solutions for unexpected site conditions Coordinate with design engineers to address field changes, design modifications, and value engineering opportunities Review shop drawings and submittal documents from electrical contractors for compliance with project specifications Troubleshoot electrical system issues during installation and pre-commissioning phases Interface with utility companies for service connections, temporary power, and permanent electrical service installations Required Qualifications Bachelor's / Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
