Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Category Management Cost Specialist located in Kochi. The Category Management Cost Specialist will be responsible for managing categories, performing in-depth cost analysis, overseeing procurement processes, and maintaining supplier relationships. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing market trends, develop should cost modeling, negotiating contracts, and driving cost-saving initiatives within the supply chain. This is an individual contributor role, and the selected candidate shall demonstrate strong ownership and commitment in the role. Qualifications Category Management and Procurement skills Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving skills Experience with Mathematical Modeling and BI (i.e. Power BI) will be a plus Effective Communication and Negotiation skills Engineering Graduates Preferred Supply chain management degree will be an added advantage Experience in the Oil and Gas industry is a plus Proficiency in IT solutions and tools for supply chain management 2+ years or similar experience is a requirement Strategic Sourcing experience will be a plus Working Hours This role will be supporting USA clients, and the selected employees are expected to work between the hours of 7AM-4PM CST (Houston time)/ 5:30PM-2:30AM IST. Work Location Kochi, Kerala, India
