You are a talented and experienced Senior Designer sought after to lead the design process for a fashion brand. Your strong background in fashion design, keen eye for detail, and excellent leadership skills make you the ideal candidate for this role. As the Senior Designer, your primary responsibilities will include creating original designs, managing the design team, and collaborating with the Creative Director to drive the brand's creative vision. Your key responsibilities will involve designing and developing original designs for seasonal collections that align with the brand's aesthetic and vision. You will lead and manage a team of junior designers, providing guidance, mentorship, and feedback to facilitate their growth and development. Collaborating with the Creative Director, you will contribute to the development of the brand's design direction to ensure alignment with the overall vision and strategy. Additionally, you will be responsible for sourcing high-quality fabrics and materials, developing prototypes for new designs, ensuring production and quality control standards are met, conducting trend research and analysis, and effectively communicating and collaborating with cross-functional teams. To qualify for this role, you are required to possess a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in fashion design, preferably in a luxury fashion brand or boutique. Your skills should include excellent drawing and sketching abilities, a strong understanding of textiles, fabrics, and materials, as well as exceptional communication, leadership, and team management skills. As a Senior Designer, you should be passionate about fashion and design, creative, innovative, detail-oriented, and committed to quality. Your ability to work collaboratively as part of a team will be crucial to your success in this role. This is a full-time position, and the work location is in-person.
