As an ExcelHER Intern in the CSETA Team based in Bangalore, you will have the chance to participate in exciting work assignments tailored for a tenure of 9 months. This program offers access to professional development programs, mentoring by a business leader, and exposure to diverse functions, technologies, and cultures. The CSETA Team at Volvo Group is part of Vehicle Engineering within Group Trucks Technology. This team is responsible for developing components and systems such as Chassis Structure, Equipment & Transport Adaptation for various truck brands under Volvo Group. As an ExcelHER Intern, your responsibilities will include participating in design and development activities, utilizing quality tools, managing cross-functional requirements, reviewing time plans, addressing virtual build issues, and documenting engineering drawings through the release process. You will be required to have mechanical engineering design expertise in an automotive context, proficiency in concept generation and development, strong English business communication skills, and familiarity with CAD tools, specifically Creo. The ideal candidate should hold a B.E. / B.Tech. degree in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering or its equivalent. Hands-on experience with CAD tools and knowledge of MS Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook are essential for this role. Additional skills in FE simulation awareness, automation of repetitive tasks, and strong organizational abilities are considered advantageous.
