The U.S. Personal Banking (USPB) Chief Operating Office team is dedicated to driving strategic growth and operational excellence within the USPB franchise. This team, which is highly visible, is responsible for leading a wide array of strategic initiatives and business management activities. These activities encompass growth strategy, digital transformation, expense productivity, talent and performance management, and operating model efficiency. The initiatives are typically team-based and involve extensive interaction and collaboration with business and functional heads, as well as their respective teams. The team comprises top performers from leading strategy consulting firms and other internal Citi groups. As a manager leading a small team within this dynamic environment, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to: - Engage with and influence the agendas of senior management - Develop knowledge and expertise across various businesses and functions within personal banking - Cultivate relationships and networks with leaders throughout the personal bank Key Responsibilities: - Lead crucial initiatives aimed at developing and implementing reporting and analytics for strategic expense management and resource allocations to drive the identification of insights, best practices, and informed decision-making - Demonstrate proficiency in all data and analysis relevant to the project or work stream, including a deep understanding of key drivers and levers - Create impactful visual representations of metrics to facilitate understanding, enabling users, including executive leadership, to easily interpret insights and identify strategic decisions - Take ownership of quantitative and qualitative analysis and reporting for Business Execution, covering expenses, hiring, scorecard performance, location strategy, and organizational design - Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, Finance, and subject matter experts, while maintaining relationships - Proactively deliver on the work plan, maintaining strong quality standards with minimal supervision - Develop CEO-level presentations and handle other ad hoc requests as needed - Efficiently multitask and manage conflicting priorities Candidate Qualifications: - 10+ years of overall experience required - Proficiency in consumer financial services; demonstrates a clear understanding of performance drivers and decision-making processes to optimize results - Strong grasp of financial statements and expense management, with proven expertise in Excel-based modeling and analytics - Solid quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to filter, prioritize, and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources - Self-motivated, well-organized, and possesses strong problem-solving skills. Demonstrated track record of handling multiple tasks, prioritizing effectively, and making decisions as needed Education: - Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or another quantitative discipline required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred This role falls under the Business Process Re-Engineering job family within the Business Strategy, Management & Administration group. Join us as a CMBS Origination & Underwriting Analyst at Barclays, where you will be part of a team responsible for underwriting loans secured by commercial mortgages securitized in CMBS transactions. Your role will involve assessing property economics, determining loan amounts and interest rates, evaluating transaction risks, and ensuring all loans meet Barclays criteria. Additionally, you will perform quarterly analysis of Balance Sheet loans and participate in the underwriting and due diligence of Acquisition facilities. To excel in this role, you should have experience in reviewing Offering Memos, evaluating property financials, compiling market research data, reviewing tenant leases, assessing capital expenditure budgets, and preparing asset summary reports. Desirable skills include underwriting and due diligence of Acquisition facilities, analyzing Balance Sheet loan performance, managing CMBS data, interacting with CMBS Origination teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. The ideal candidate will possess excellent knowledge of Real Estate metrics and financial statements, prior experience in Real Estate finance or securitized products like CMBS, proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, experience with Due Diligence processes, familiarity with Argus Software, Bloomberg, Trepp, CoStar, and REIS market reports. Your responsibilities will be based out of Nirlon Knowledge Park, Mumbai, and will include providing technical support to traders and sales professionals, coordinating trade execution, maintaining trade records and client databases, preparing reports and presentations, monitoring market data, and assisting in financial analysis for trading decisions. You will be expected to perform activities in a timely and high-quality manner, demonstrate technical expertise, lead and supervise a team, advise and influence decision making, and take ownership of managing risk and strengthening controls.
