As a skilled Java developer with expertise in API development and integration, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable and efficient APIs using RESTful services. A minimum Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science, along with at least 5 years of experience in designing large-scale APIs and data solutions, is required for this position. You should have a solid understanding of RESTful principles, SOAP, GraphQL, and API best practices. Knowledge of JSON and XML data formats is essential, along with skills in API versioning and documentation tools like GitHub and ADO. Understanding API security measures including OAuth, JWT, and rate limiting is crucial. Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases is preferred, along with experience in Agile development methodologies.
