The primary responsibility of this role is to pour and regulate the flow of molten metal into molds and forms to produce ingots or other castings, utilizing ladles or hand-controlled mechanisms. You will be required to move the prepared metal to the pouring area with the assistance of a crane or other moving system. It will be essential to determine and add metal to molds to compensate for shrinkage and collect samples for analysis or instruct workers to do so.
