You have an exciting opportunity as a Medicine Specialist in a well-established hospital in Joda Noamundi, Jajpur, and Jamshedpur locations. As a Medicine Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing competent medical care to patients. Your responsibilities will include examining patients, providing advice on investigations and medications, performing dressing or stitching procedures, and determining the need for inpatient admissions or outpatient care. In this role, you will be expected to attend to OPD patients daily at the Occupational Health Center (OHC) and oversee the treatment and medical care of patients admitted to the wards. This involves writing detailed case notes, prescribing appropriate treatment and diet plans, supervising nursing staff, and conducting surgical procedures as required or advised by the Head Medical Officer or Chief Medical Superintendent (CMS). Apart from clinical duties, you will also be responsible for the management of medical stores, dispensary, general store, X-ray unit, laboratory, operation theatre, and hospital kitchen as assigned by the Head Medical Officer. Additionally, you will support the administration in tasks such as checking attendance, recommending leave grants, preparing duty schedules, and ensuring the smooth functioning of various departments under your supervision. To excel in this role, you should possess skills in delivering high-quality medical care encompassing preventive, curative, and promotive measures. You are expected to ensure compliance with statutory regulations, handle first aid and emergencies, liaise with hospitals and specialists for health camps, promote occupational health and hygiene, and conduct training programs on first aid and general health practices. Ideally, you should have completed MBBS and DNB/MD in Medicine from a recognized university accredited by the National Medical Commission (NMC) or Medical Council of India (MCI).
