Job Title: Exam Supervisor (also called Exam Invigilator)

Job Description:

An Exam Supervisor is responsible for overseeing examinations to ensure they are conducted fairly, securely, and according to exam rules and regulations. The role involves supervising students during exams, maintaining a calm exam environment, and preventing any form of misconduct.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the examination room before students arrive
• Check student identification and attendance
• Distribute and collect exam papers and materials
• Clearly explain exam rules and instructions to candidates
• Supervise students during the exam to ensure compliance with regulations
• Respond to student questions related to exam procedures (not content)
• Monitor time and announce start and end of the exam
• Report any irregularities or misconduct to the exam coordinator
• Ensure exam materials are returned securely after the exam
