You will be responsible for ensuring effective communication in English with students and colleagues while on school premises. Your duties will include reaching the assembly place 5 minutes before the bell, organizing students in proper lines, accompanying them back to the class after assembly, and monitoring their uniform. Additionally, you will be tasked with preparing blackboards/whiteboards at the start of each period, maintaining accurate attendance records, and checking students" diaries. It will be your responsibility to ensure that students are utilizing their diaries correctly, that the timetable is mentioned in each diary, and that students are carrying the necessary materials as per the daily timetable. You must carry your own timetable and syllabus for all subjects and classes at all times. Furthermore, you will need to ensure that students copy the classwork from the board and complete their homework assignments. Regularly checking and correcting classwork and homework copies, returning them to students promptly, and contacting parents of students who have been absent for three consecutive days without prior notice will also be part of your role. You will need to oversee the cleanliness of your classroom, ensure adequate furniture and space for each student, and maintain well-lit conditions. Keeping records on the WeCan Application, checking exam answer sheets accurately, calculating grand totals correctly, and preparing progress reports for each student with care and accuracy are crucial tasks.
