You will be working full-time from the office in Chennai as an Oracle DBA Admin. With 6 to 8 years of relevant experience, you will be responsible for managing and supporting Oracle 19c in production RAC (ASM) environments. Your duties will include performing Exadata migration, handling database performance tuning, utilizing Oracle Data Guard, RMAN, and Data Pump for backup and recovery tasks, administering ASM storage environments, ensuring database availability, and providing 24x7 support. Additionally, you will be required to create and maintain SQL/PLSQL queries, design and implement backup and recovery strategies, perform performance testing, and document database policies, procedures, and standards. Collaboration with the application team, support for developers, and working across teams to ensure database reliability and optimization are also key aspects of the role. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on experience with Oracle 11gR2/19c in RAC (ASM) environments, proficiency in Data Guard, RMAN, and Data Pump, experience with Linux OS for Oracle database administration, a solid understanding of Exadata architecture, strong SQL/PLSQL skills, good knowledge of performance tuning and troubleshooting, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills. Being self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a team are essential qualities for this position.
