We are seeking a Test Lead Automation Engineer with more than 5 years of experience in developing test suites using various automation tools and designing test automation frameworks. As an Automation Engineer, you will collaborate closely with the Development team, utilizing strong automation and test skills in an agile environment. You should have at least 5+ years of industry experience in test automation, a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in REST API Design and Development. Additionally, you should have at least 2 years of experience with Automation Framework, experience with GUI and Web testing, proficiency in Java/Python, basic knowledge of SQL queries, familiarity with HTML/CSS, and experience working in an Agile delivery environment. Understanding of Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Continuous Deployment, as well as experience with various test development and test management tools, is required. It would be advantageous if you also possess knowledge and experience in REST API Automation and testing using the Rest Assured framework, familiarity with automation tools like Selenium Webdriver, experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, and understanding of Java coding. JMeter experience is considered an added advantage. In this role, you will contribute to the creation and maintenance of API or UI tests, write quality, well-tested, documented code, adhere to development best practices and standards within the team, diagnose issues and identify bugs in existing systems, improve testability of mobile applications by working closely with developers, collaborate with QA, DevOps, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Project Management, and adhere to Agile development practices while supporting the team in doing so.
