You are a skilled Oracle Utilities Designer with over 8 years of experience, looking to support the design and implementation of Oracle Utilities solutions such as Customer Care and Billing (CC&B), Customer to Meter (C2M), Meter Data Management (MDM), or Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB). In this role, you will collaborate closely with functional and technical teams to deliver comprehensive solution designs, ensuring alignment with utility industry best practices. Your key responsibilities will include working with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional and technical solution designs. You will be responsible for creating detailed Functional Design Documents (FDD) and Technical Design Documents (TDD), leading or supporting solution architecture sessions, and designing configurations, business rules, algorithms, batch processes, and integrations based on project requirements. Furthermore, you will support development teams by clarifying design specifications, ensuring compliance with Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF) standards and best practices, and providing input on data migration, interface design, and system integration. You will collaborate with testing teams to define and review test cases, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and contribute to performance tuning, error handling, and exception management strategies. To be successful in this role, you must have at least 6 years of experience in Oracle Utilities implementations (CC&B, C2M, MDM, or ORMB) and possess a strong knowledge of OUAF (Oracle Utilities Application Framework). Proficiency in the design of business objects, zones, UI maps, and algorithms is essential.
