Role Overview: Rakuten Symphony is reimagining telecom and disrupting industry norms to foster rapid innovation and growth. Responsibilities: - Design, validate, implement, and support IP Transport Network technologies - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop solutions for the next-generation IPv6 transport network - Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols such as ISIS, OSPF, MP-BGP, MPLS, SR, etc. - Optimize network performance, ensure high availability, and integrate seamlessly with other systems - Troubleshoot network issues with SoC & TAC teams - Hands-on experience with ASR, NCS, and Nexus devices Qualification Required: - Strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols, network architecture, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Wireshark - Expertise in routing protocols like MP-BGP, ISIS, OSPF, as well as IPv6, SRv6, MPLS, EVNP, QoS - Certification in routing (CCNP, CCIE-ENT/SP/JNCIE-SP etc.) is a plus - Experience with network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, etc.) - Bachelor's or Master's in CSE/ECE - 8+ years of experience in the Networking Industry or large-scale Enterprise networks About the Company: Rakuten Group, Inc. is a global leader in internet services, offering a wide range of services to over 1.9 billion members worldwide.
