You are an Engineering Graduate or Postgraduate with 2-7 years of experience in software development. You have a strong proficiency in JavaScript, Node.JS, and ES6 or ECMA 2015. It is essential for you to have knowledge of frameworks like Express (Router set-up), StrongLoop, etc. You should understand EventLoop architecture, promises, Axios, REST-ful APIs, Node Debugging, Data Structures, Algorithms, Node Global variables, and In-built libraries (e.g. Immutable.js). Your expertise includes understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds. You are familiar with server-side templating languages such as Jade, EJS, and server-side CSS preprocessors like Stylus, SASS, etc. Your responsibilities will include integrating user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic and designing and implementing low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications. You will be responsible for implementing security and data protection, integrating data storage solutions (RDBMS, No SQL DB), familiar with benchmarking and optimization, front-end build pipeline & tools, writing reusable, testable, and efficient code. Additionally, you should be able to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements. Experience in Agile development in a fast-paced environment, working in small teams/pods/squads is highly desired. Any contribution to open source projects or experience working with open-source ecosystems will be an advantage. Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex programming problems are appreciated for this role.,
