As a Freelance Event Host for travel-themed meetup events in Chennai, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Host and anchor travel meetup events in Tamil and English - Engage with attendees, lead icebreakers, Q&A sessions, and activities - Ensure smooth flow and energy throughout the 3-hour event - Coordinate with the Indian Rounds team during the event - Be the cheerful face and voice of our brand during meetups To excel in this role, you should meet the following qualifications: - Excellent communication skills in Tamil and English - Comfortable speaking in front of groups (20-50 people) - Prior experience in anchoring, event hosting, or theatre is a plus - Passionate about travel, people, and creating lively experiences - Available on weekends (Exact dates will be discussed) The events typically last for approximately 3 hours per event on selected weekends.
