Role: MC Assistant for Weddings & Special Events

About the Role

We are looking for a smart, dynamic, and enthusiastic individual to work as a part-time Events Coordinator, primarily assisting the Master of Ceremonies (MC) during weddings and other special events. This is an exciting opportunity for college students who wish to earn while gaining real-world experience in the events and entertainment industry.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the MC during events, ensuring smooth flow and coordination.

Manage backstage and on-ground activities as instructed.

Coordinate with event vendors, venue staff, and performers when required.

Handle cue sheets, announcements, guest coordination, and timing schedules.

Support the MC in managing the crowd, stage activities, and transitions.

Travel with the MC for outstation events when needed.

Requirements

Smart, presentable, and dynamic personality – must be confident in social situations.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to handle high-pressure or fast-paced event environments.

Flexible to travel out of town for events.

Preferred: Male candidates, as some events conclude late at night.

Must be punctual, professional, and committed.

Availability on weekends and evenings (as most events occur during these times).
