You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting industrial refrigeration systems, cold rooms, chillers, freezers, and their associated controls. Your primary focus will be on conducting preventive and reactive maintenance on cooling systems to ensure consistent temperature control for perishable goods. Monitoring refrigerant levels, handling charging, recovery, and leak detection as required will also be part of your duties. In addition, you will need to maintain compressors, condensers, evaporators, and defrost systems to ensure optimal performance. Inspecting electrical connections, sensors, thermostats, and control boards associated with refrigeration equipment will also be a key aspect of your role. It is essential to document all work and maintain service logs for audits and compliance purposes. Conduct line sizing calculations for liquid, vapour, and steam processes. 4. Hydraulic & Pump System Design : Perform pump hydraulic calculations and assist in pump selection to match process demands. 5. Equipment Specification : Develop process data sheet (PDS) sheets for key equipment such as distillation columns, shell-and-tube heat exchangers, reboilers, tanks, and evaporators.
