As a New Model Project Coordinator at the Gurgaon Plant in the Production Engineering (PE) division of the New Projects Engineering (NPE) department, you will play a vital role in coordinating and tracking the progress of new model development projects. You will be responsible for ensuring adherence to project milestones and timelines, as well as identifying and addressing quality issues during the trial stages. Your key responsibilities will include tracking new model development progress, studying countermeasure plans with PE teams, identifying root causes of quality issues, monitoring pending issues for timely closure, and coordinating with various departments for issue resolution. Your role will involve understanding the 4-wheeler development and manufacturing process, with knowledge of EV being an added advantage. Additionally, you should have hands-on experience in project management tools, basic knowledge of Autocad and MS Office, and possess good communication, presentation, influencing, negotiation, and networking skills. Being a team player and having the ability to understand and act in critical situations promptly are essential for success in this role. To qualify for this position, you should hold a B.E./B.Tech degree in Mechanical or Production engineering and have 4 to 6 years of relevant experience. Role & responsibilities • Understand customer requirements as a system and allocation of system requirements to system elements and subsystems, overseeing the refinement of lower-level requirements flowed down to other engineering COCs. • Analyses requirement to create system design Specification /conceptualisation, ensure system architecture and subsystem design align with operational concepts. Create and control systems engineering artifacts such as system requirement specification documents, Requirements Verification Traceability Matrixes (RVTM), Interface Control Documents (ICD), architecture diagrams, Prepare test cases, test plans, test procedures, and test reports. Oversee and review system-level integration testing, and requirement verification, ensuring compliance with established requirements and project SOR. Ensure Validation and homologation requirements are fulfilled. Collaborate with stakeholders, internal and external, to communicate technical concepts, resolve problems, and influence decision-making on technical matters. Prepare technical reports, system documentation, and test plans while ensuring clarity and compliance with project requirements Technical Competence: - • Understanding of Electric Vehicle ECUs for various functions. Good Knowledge on Hardware and Software components of ECUs. • Manufacturing process and EOL requirements for EV components/Power train. • Hands on Experience of understanding CAN protocols (SAEJ1939,ISO14229, ISO 11898) ,CAN bus architecture and IVN requirements. • Hands on experience in developing CAN matrix and CAN dbc for Powertrain . • Hands on experience in using CAN tools for debugging and analysis.(CANalyser, CANoe..etc) • Understanding on Structured SW architecture, OTA, FOTA, Flash Boot loader,EOL..etc. • Good understanding of EMI/EMC and Electrical requirements, Design aspects and Validation requirements. • Experience on using testing equipment like HIL set up, DSO, Multimeters, RLC meters, Logic analyser Spectrum analyser, Function generators and CAN tools like CAN Analyser, CANoeetc • Understanding of existing and upcoming charging protocols. • Knowledge of Various Cell chemistries and cell characterisation, parametrisation understanding • Exposure to HV systems and understanding of HV safety • Understanding of Functional safety, Cyber security would be added advantage • Understanding of Problem solving tools like fish bone, why-why analysis , 8Ds, would be added advantage.
