ETP Operator - Jangaon ( Telangana Location)

Role & responsibilities

• Responsible to fully understand companies HSE policy & perform to comply the same.
• Responsible to follow & adhere to the General Safety rules of the company as applicable.
• Responsible for identification, reporting, correcting & eliminating unsafe conditions & actions.
• Responsible for reporting Accidents/Incidents/Near misses within the department & premises.
• To inspect and operate plant equipment or monitor operating conditions, meters, and gauges to determine load requirements and detect malfunctions.
• To add chemicals required for plant operations such as Urea, DAP, Poly electrolyte Alum/lime/Acid etc to maintain operating conditions for efficient treatment of effluent in ETP & RO plants.
• To collect and test waste water and sewage samples, using test equipment and color analysis as per the standards.
• Operate all the plants i.e. ETP/STP/RO 1 & 2, RO 3 & 4 A/B, Decanter, Evaporation reactor in efficient manner to treat the effluent complying the treated quality norms.
• To record plant operational data and regular analysis data of samples collected and tested.
• To operate and adjust controls on equipment to operate efficiently so as to purify and clarify water.
• To maintain, repair, and lubricate equipment, using hand tools and power tools so as to avoid breakdowns and stoppages of plants.
• Clean and maintain tanks, filter beds, and other work areas using hand tools and power tools.
• Direct and coordinate plant workers engaged in routine operations and maintenance activities.
• Participate in all HSE related activities within the Mundra plant.

Maintain good Housekeeping in all plants and ETP laboratory.

Preferred candidate profile

• B.Sc.(Environmental Engineering/Science) /M. Sc.(Environmental Engineering / Science) /Diploma in Chemical/Mechanical engineering / ITI in Attendant Operator Chemical Plant/ Mechanical

• 5-10 years of Environmental i.e. ETP/STP/RO/MEE experience in a manufacturing unit
