• Validate end-to-end data flows from ingestion to transformation to consumption.
• Develop and maintain automated and manual test cases for data validation, transformation logic, and quality checks.
• Perform data reconciliation, completeness, and accuracy testing across systems (Data Lake, Data Mart, Data Store).
• Design and implement QA processes for continuous testing in CI/CD pipelines in Azure.
• Collaborate with data engineers, Data BAs/BSAs, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure alignment with data quality standards.
• Investigate data issues and lead root cause analysis in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Balance data delivery function with a focus on data initiatives, EDLH and other data projects as required to support IT/EPMO portfolio.
• Establish QA design and testing standards in collaboration with Data Engineers and proactively, identify and implement improvements. 
• Accountable for product quality through the project delivery lifecycle.
• Ensure proper documentation of test cases, results, issues and test coverage for audit and compliance purposes.
• Understand the functional aspects of Enterprise Data Warehouse, data integrations, data marts.
• Ensure all forms of communication (verbal, email, business documents, and technical documents) are clear, concise, and professional.
• Engage in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to align QA activities with development cycles.
• Familiarity with tools like Power BI for reporting and analysis
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, and data transformation workflows.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with large-scale data validation.
• Proven experience in data QA across Data Lake, Data Marts, and Data Warehouses.
• Understanding of cloud data platforms (preferably Azure) and DevOps pipelines.
• Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps), and automation frameworks.
• Strong experience with Test Data Management, Test Data Creation and Data subset.
• Strong ability to resolve routine/minor conflicts efficiently, and knowledge of when to escalate.
• Insurance (P&C) domain knowledge. Knowledge of the Insurance Industry including Claims Processing, Underwriting, Reinsurance and Policy and forms Generation is a definite asset.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
