ETL Testing with Big Data(Hive)

As a Software Engineer/Senior Software Engineer/Senior Analyst in Chennai, your role will involve: - Performing database testing and ETL testing with expertise in Big Data technologies like Hive - Applying your working knowledge in Agile methodology to drive testing activities - Demonstrating a minimum of 4-6 years of experience in test planning and execution - Having exposure to the auditing domain would be an added advantage - Utilizing strong application analysis and troubleshooting skills - Possessing extensive experience in manual testing and preferably some experience in automation scripting - Leading discussions with Business, Development, and vendor teams for testing activities such as Defect Coordination and test scenario reviews - Demonstrating expertise in Data Warehouse (DWH) and ETL testing, including experience with Redshift ETL tool and AWS - Familiarity with analytics tools like Tableau and Collibra - Being open to working in 2nd shifts from 1 pm to 10 pm - Showcasing excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders The above qualifications and responsibilities align with the requirements of the role, enabling you to contribute effectively to the testing activities in the context of ETL and Big Data technologies.,
