ETL Testing - Python/Pyspark

As a Test Lead for ETL Testing at CGI, you will work independently under limited supervision in Applications Development. Your role involves applying your knowledge and skills to develop simple application solutions and dealing with issues within your field of specialization. You will have a direct impact on results and outcomes. Here is a breakdown of your future duties and responsibilities: - Work in an agile environment and collaborate with the development team to develop unit test scripts. - Demonstrate an understanding of enterprise data warehousing best practices and standards. - Lead QA Analysts on a project team and ensure effective communication through excellent verbal and written skills. - Showcase strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Prioritize and execute tasks effectively to meet project requirements. To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications: Must-Have Skills: - Expertise in SQL with a deep understanding of core concepts and query optimization. - Lead and mentor ETL testers, providing technical guidance in ETL tools, SQL, and test automation frameworks. - Create and review complex test cases, scripts, and test data for ETL processes. - Experience in ETL Automation tools like Datagap, Informatica, Talend, and Ab Initio. - Validate data transformations, ensure data accuracy, and maintain consistency across systems. - Familiarity with data warehouse projects, data modeling, and BI concepts. - Develop and maintain ETL test automation frameworks to improve testing efficiency. - Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous validation of ETL processes. - Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps/JIRA for test management and agile concepts. Good-to-Have Skills: - Knowledge of Big Data platforms like Hadoop.
