As an ETL Engineer at Barclays, you will be at the forefront of evolving the infrastructure and deployment pipelines, driving innovation and operational excellence. Your primary responsibilities will include harnessing cutting-edge technology to build and manage robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure to ensure the seamless delivery of digital solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Build and maintain data architecture pipelines to enable the transfer and processing of durable, complete, and consistent data. - Design and implement data warehouses and data lakes that manage appropriate data volumes, velocity, and security measures. - Develop processing and analysis algorithms suitable for the intended data complexity and volumes. - Collaborate with data scientists to build and deploy machine learning models. Qualifications Required: - Experience with AbInitio Development Framework and PySpark Development Framework. - Proficiency in designing and implementing ETL pipelines using SQL and Python. - Highly valued skills may include knowledge of Mongo DB, Snowflake, Big Data Tools, and Tivoli Scheduler. In your role based out of Pune, you will play a pivotal part in building and maintaining systems that collect, store, process, and analyze data, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and security. You are expected to perform prescribed activities in a timely and high-quality manner, driving continuous improvement. With in-depth technical knowledge and experience in your assigned area of expertise, you will lead and supervise a team while guiding professional development and coordinating resources effectively. Whether in a leadership role or as an individual contributor, you will impact the work of related teams, partner with other functions, and take responsibility for managing risks and strengthening controls within your scope of work.
